Safari Farms is a woman-owned, family-operated farm led by Safiya Abdi.
Safiya began growing vegetables on her mother’s Global Gardens plot in 2010. The next year, she leased her own land and completed beginning-farmer training. Today, she manages multiple acres across Boise and has become a familiar part of the local food community.
